3. The Banyan Tree Of Lahaina
Planted in 1983, the Banyan Tree is an historic site to visit in Lahaina.
It is an incredible sight to behold standing at over 60 feet in height with 12 large trunks that look like a small forest and grown into another but, in fact, it is all one tree.
This can be found on Front Street and covers an overall area of 200 feet. If you’re looking for a little shade from the summer heat, too, you can find plenty here as the tree covers two thirds of an acre.
There are also several benches to relax and take in the scenery too.
4. Iao Valley State Park And Botanical Gardens
When visiting Lahaina, you can take a short journey to the Iao Valley State Park. Here, you can enjoy a picturesque tour of the botanical gardens, ethnic villages on display, and take part in some easy hikes throughout nature.
